Cover #7

I promised a week of covers and here is the final one, from Michelle Celmer's January release titled House Calls. So, what would you think about this doctor calling at your house?

I dont care for this cover because the guy is not too visable but in this case I don't mind because what I see of the guy isn't very appealing! All week I haven't cared much for the covers I guess I can be pretty critical.I do appreciate you posting them though because I got a sneak peek at some great stories I can't wait to read.

Ok, Dena, I admit defeat. Although you do have me intrigued -- wanna share what cover(s) you do like? As you might have guessed, I'm really interested in which appwal to readers.

Christa -- me neither, more's the pity!

Hi Bronwyn,
I like the cover personally. I really love the cover for "The Ruthless Groom" as well as the excerpt that I've read. Also, since I share the same name as the heroine; I will have to read it lol!

Hi Zara and welcome to my blog. I've always loved that name and was just waiting for the right heroine. Hope you like what I've done with your alter ego!

Hi Bron, Well of the 7 you showed us I like #5 the best. Couples dancing are always good covers I think. I know there your favorite too! I love the cover of In Bed With The Boss's Daughter! The Ruthless Groom is great! Covers with one character on them, like Bertrice Small's books are beautiful, but for books on the Desire line having a couple connect either by eye contact, about to kiss or holding each other are good covers to me. Your cover Addicted to Nick is HOT!!!
I think the reason I didn't care for the covers this week is the couples didn't seem to have a connection to each other like they were strangers even though they were posed otherwise.

Hey, Dena, that's an astute point about the "connect" between the couples. Eye contact helps, yes?

yes on eye contact, but the covers this week that did have eye contact just didn't connect to me?I guess it goes back to my thought that they seemed to be strangers.
