The Time Thing

I have just changed the time/date settings on my blog to my own time zone. It was previously on US Pacific time, I have no reason why, and I had to sit and think about this to know whether I'd posted today or yesterday or tomorrow in that time zone and arrgghhh...I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. Now it's my time zone on the date posted and when you comment, well, you'll know what time it is where I live! Bonus.

That is neat...I guess it is already Friday in Australia then...I always forget that you are ahead of us in time.

Yup, Jennifer. You commented at 8.10am Friday and I'm replying at 8.40am. Are we confused yet? *g*

Time zones can be so confusing especially if your a day away.So are you a day behind Pacific time?

Not only are you a day ahead but your seasons are backwards from us. I have had snow for 3 days.
BTW here it is Friday 1:15 pm.

Dena, we're not quite a day AHEAD of American time. Christa and Robyn posted at 1pm Friday (I assume) and their comments are stamped 5-6am Saturday, my time. Clear as mud???

Woke up this morning and it was snowing again. That's 4 days of snow.

Is snow in February usual, Christa? Or are you usually thawing by now?
posted by Blogger Bronwyn Jameson : 7:39 AM

Our winters have been coming later and later but it usualy doesn't get nicer weather until March, so snow is usual for Feb.

So it makes it around 14-15 hours ahead?
posted by Blogger Dena : 3:24 AM

Dena, that sounds about right, depending on which time zone you're in. I know I'm 16 hours ahead of NYC, which I need to work out when contacting my editor.
