With Baited Breath...

...I await the arrival of cover art for my August release, The Bought-And-Paid-For Wife. I have ordered it from production and it could land in my inbox tomorrow or next week or next month. When, exactly, depends on the fabulous lady who handles the mailouts.

Covers, I believe, make a big impression. Readers may not buy the book based purely on a snazzy cover, but eye-catching art draws attention, which leads to picking up the book and taking a closer look at the blurb and/or the extract and/or the first page(s). So, I am anxiously awaiting my next cover art and hoping it matches up to the first three titles in the Secret Lives of Society Wives mini-series.

What do you think of them? And has anyone read any of the first 3 books??

I've read the first book by Metsy Hingle. It's a Cinderella-at-the-ball story and I enjoyed it. I have the second book on the shelf but between #2 son's graduation and other stuff, my reading time has been sparse lately.

I really like Pat's cover. I get the impression it's a scene from the book and I'm intrigued by the fact she's miked up.

Marilyn, I love Cinderella stories and am looking forward to Metsy's.

I have read the first and second ones. I don't like the dress the h in the second one is wearing.
