Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Me outside Turner Field. Heh.

Q: How many men does it take to hold a hose?
A: THIS many...

Half an hour later, those guys are still hosin'. Seriously, I was quite tickled by how many men in red polo shirts it took to prepare a baseball pitch/field/diamond/whatever. This definitely is a game that helps with employment!

Where's the photos of the guys in tight pants? Huh?

I've never been to a ballgame at Turner Field but I was there when it was called Olympic Stadium and watched some track and field preliminaries. It had been a lifelong dream to go to an Olympic games and thanks to the generosity of a friend who lived in Atlanta and worked for the Olympic Organizing Committee, that dream came true in 1996. I walked up to that stadium, heard the Olympic theme playing over the PA system and burst into tears. My poor son didn't know what to think.

I know if your at the ballpark couldn't you have gotten pictures of the men,but no Bron takes pictures of them watering the infield, lol. Those were some pretty good seats,I like to sit in that area when we go see the Mariner's. Were going the 25th this month and we are so excited their playing against the Red Sox.

I love the Olympics too and I could only imagine the emotion you were feeling at that time Marilyn.

You think I'd be wasting time taking photos of the men in tight pants? *g* Seriously? I was underwhelmed in that regard. Pants not so tight, men not so good-looking. But I enjoyed the game and I enjoyed the company and I enjoyed the margaritas.
