Kudos to Cleo...

...for naming a goofy guy with "introverted muscles" (his words) as their Bachelor of the Year.

Huh? I hear you ask. I'll let Cleo editor Nedahl Stelio explain the magazine's 2006 choice--announced in Melbourne last night--of TV and radio comedian Andy Lee. She said Lee's sex appeal was his down-to-earth personality and wit. (I've also heard him described as clever and adorable.)

"Girls are having a bit of a shift away from the superficial 'He has to be big and buff and a typically good looking guy', and really appreciate a funny guy. Personality is counting for more these days and Andy definitely epitomises the typical funny guy. He is cute, clever and smart, but he's not a loser, so that's appealing."

I've always found funny--the funny that comes from intelligence and wit coupled with a cute smile and deprecating personality--really appealing. How about you? Are you a sucker for a smart funny man...or a clever and adorable one?

Hey Bron!

I know Andy. His co-hort Hamish is a good friend of my hubby's and mine. I think he's a worthy winner! Very very nice guy, cute as a button and teribly funny. Can't go wrong there.

And to add ot the fun, Hamish put $800 on Andy at 30-1 as a joke. Now who's laughing?

Ally, you have very clever and adorable friends. Have seen them both--Hamish more so--on TV shows like Spicks and Specks. How funny about the bet!

I love a guy with a sense a humor. If a guy is nice, smart, loves family, and funny it's the best combo.,and a great catch in my eyes.
