Back In Fortune's Bed

The cover of my next book, out in February in North America, was waiting in my inbox this morning. I love how it ties in with the title. Is it just me or does this resemble a certain Aussie actor...?

Here's the back cover blurb:

THE PRICE OF PASSION

Years ago, Max Fortune had a sizzling summer affair with Diana Fielding-Young that she'd ended without warning. Now the embittered Australian millionaire was tormented by memories when he returned to South Dakota and locked eyes with Diana at a high-society soiree. Realizing his hunger for his former flame had never truly been satisfied, he vowed to get her back in his bed and make her rue the day she'd played him for a fool.

But as their spellbinding reunion was reduced to gossip-column fodder, would Diana's shocking confession force this ruthless heartbreaker to change tactics?

DAKOTA FORTUNES: Oil is in their blood...privilege is their birthright.

Oh! Oh! I think I know this one and I live in a cave and know no one which makes it extra exiting!! I think he looks a LOT like Julian McMahon from Nip and Tuck, once married to Danni Minogue...

Bingo, Fiona. I don't watch Nip And Tuck but I have a friend who is a big fan...mostly of the Julian McMahon factor. I'm counting on her to buy a squillion copies of this book, given that likeness. *g*

Beautiful cover, Bron - even without the snow (which, BTW, we just got 2.4 inches of)!

Yep, Carol, looks like they've found a way to stay warm from all that snow.

Wow, Heather, snow already? Although I shouldn't be surprised, given that we've been getting summer heat since early October.

Yup, already! Thundersnow, even. That is one wild experience, let me tell you. Kind of freaky, yet neat at the same time.

Thundersnow? Wow, Heather, from this distance that sounds awesome. And would you believe its snowing in Tasmania? That's our southernmost state--the little island down the bottom--and since my wip is set there, I'm taking a keen interest. Not sure I can have snow at this coastal resort, however. Just enough rain to strand the reluctant heroine with a vengeful man...
