Review: Tycoon's One-Night Revenge

Have I mentioned lately that I have a book out? And that you should buy it? :-)

In case you're wondering if it's your cup of tea or not, here's a review just in from The Romance Readers Connection. Deborah Hosey does a brill. job summarising the story setup.

"After a brutal mugging, millionaire businessman Donovan Keane doesn't remember the weekend he'd just spent with Susannah Horton. He has pieced together the details and he's convinced that she sabotaged his bid for The Palisades hotel he desperately wants. Susannah never heard from Van after that weekend despite the promises he made, so she got on with her life and accepted a friend's marriage proposal when he agreed to bail her business out of financial trouble. Van's summoned her to get to the nitty gritty of what went wrong with their original deal, and though he might not remember their passionate weekend, he can easily imagine taking the lovely Susannah to his bed. Now that she's engaged and The Palisades Hotel is part of the marriage contract, there's only one thing to do: keep Susannah with him and somehow stop the wedding...and try not to lose his heart once again.

TYCOON'S ONE-NIGHT REVENGE is an intense and entertaining read. It combines an amnesia plot, sexual tension, the beauty of Tasmania, and an already-familiar set up from Jameson's Princes of the Outback trilogy to make it a must-read Silhouette Desire. Bronwyn Jameson always provides compelling reading, and TYCOON'S ONE-NIGHT REVENGE is this and more!"

End of shameless self-promotion.

Why, yes, azteclady, apparently I do have a book out. :-) Although Virginia can't find it in stores. Perhaps I should run a "find my Tycoon" contest...although it would be just too depressing if no one entered.

(Glad you liked the excerpt, V.)

Bron, from all of the excerpts and reviews I've read I think you are going to have a bestseller on your hands! It is on my TBB list.

Actually ladies, I live in Ohio and picked it up in my local grocery store (that way I can hide my book addiction expense in amongst the Captain Crunch, salad fixin's, hubby's brew and kid's ice cream!)

And I have to say it was very good! I always wondered what Susannah's story was after reading about her in "The Ruthless Groom". I mean, who in their right mind would run out on hunky Alex Carlisle?? But after getting to know to know Van, I could see her attraction (great cover by the way!)

What I really liked about the story is that Susannah acknowledged that she was attracted to Van - big time - but that she had to honor her promise to Alex. As the H & H learned more about each other, their defenses kept crumbling and the attraction grew. But I'll leave the rest for you all to find out!

Bron - maybe we're soul sisters :-)

Nina, I shop the same way (cereal, milk, book, bananas, ice-cream, book)so we may just be soul sisters. :-)

Thank you also for the lovely comments re Tycoon. Given the backstory setup in The Ruthless Groom, this was a really tough book to write while remaining true to Alex and Zara and the timeline. So I'm extra extra chuffed when it works for a reader.

Susan, thank you. Not a bestseller yet but I live in hope of next week's list.

Crystal, enjoy.

AL, be good? That sounds like no fun at all.

Jane, glad you enjoy an amnesia story. There are some who run a mile from that word in a blurb. It can be a credibility stretch but I just had to write one.

Limecello, when it comes to hunting Tycoons I'm sure there would be takers. LOL.
