Wouldn't I Love To Do This One Day...

A writing course, a whole week, in Tuscany. Sigh. It's like my idea of bliss. Excuse me while I drift off to daydream a while about courtyards and picnics and Italian food and Alpine views and, oh yes, a little writing as well. I will not daydream about the complete unfeasability of distance and cost and suchlike. Sigh.

I'm with you, Bron. I'll daydream right along with you.
Italy just breathes romance. We'd find it so inspiring.

hi bron

that is such a lovely place described. You know what captured me the mention of Italian food. Olive oil, pasta, tomatoes and parmesan cheese are stocked in my cupboard to create some itallian dish, one of my favourite cuisine. Oh it would be so lovely to experience it in Italy, if only.... (lol)

Bron -- Would love to do a retreat in Tuscany - the scenery, the food, the friendly Italian people, the good looking guys, possibly neighboring with George Clooney....sigh!

I would love to learn how to cook in either Italy or France.

The only plus side of only daydreaming about such a wonderful trip is that it's free! :)

Sounds like heaven to me!

I'm so there (especially if I don't have to cook.) My next book has a Tuscan hero and I'd love to get a taste of Tuscany that's multi-dimensional rather than just what I can glean from DVDs.

Hi Bron, I found your book!! I found your book!!! I just had to let you know. I found it first at the Kroger store and then at Wal-Mart in Danville KY. I want you to know that it fell right off of that shelf into my grocery cart.Hehe

Barb, I've always had this dream about a house in Tuscany. Can't even blame it on Under The Tuscan Sun, which only fueled my desire.

Avi, yes, yes, yes to the food stylings of Italy. One of my favourite cuisines as well.

Nina, a side trip or two to Lake Como for Clooney sightings will be on the itinerary for sure.

:-)

Jane, a cooking retreat! How cool would that be? I actually sent away for brochures of a food & wine tour of regional Italy. There were several itineraries, more fuel to the desire.

Susan, free works for me, too. LOL.

Heather, heaven under the Tuscan Sun. Yes, indeed. Speaking of which...

Yvonne, you must read Under The Tuscan Sun to colour that research. Not the same as visiting but next best thing.

Virginia, he fell RIGHT INTO your cart? Didn't I train that tycoon well. LOL.

Seriously, hope you enjoy him and your virtual trip to our Tasmanian wilderness.

We have a wine growing area about an hour's drive from my home. Recently I organised a "Picnic Day in Tuscany" for a social group. We had brilliant weather, delicious food and some rather nice wines to taste. Now that's living!

I'd love to receive some book submissions about food, romance or adventure in Tuscany.
