I Love Harlequin!

I know I often remind myself how lucky I am to be writing for Harlequin, but I don't think I say it out loud often enough. Yesterday, two things that made me smile all over my face while thinking, I do love Harlequin, I do, I do.

1. I bought some eBooks from Harlequin's store; had a problem with recognition of the coupon. I emailed customer care to let them know and they not only dealt with it immediately, they were most generous in how they dealt with it.I love that as well as discounting the books, they often, regularly (all the time?), offer extra specials and discounts.

2. A couple weeks back a friend emailed me the link to my latest French translation and because this is a duo with my good friend Yvonne Lindsay and because the cover is all kinds of lovely, I wanted a copy. Instead of whining about never getting copies of my French books via the usual channels (as I do), I contacted the fabulous Harlequin Australia office. Unheralded a big package arrived in my mail box yesterday: all seven of my French translations!

I love the purple cover. I hate dealing with rude customer service reps. It can ruin the whole shopping experience.

I LOVE this cover. It has the romance and it has the horses. What more could I ask for? :)

The parcel in the mail was a huge surprise. Firstly, I would never have expected such a rapid response. Secondly, I requested my latest book as it's current and also mentioned one which has sold extra well -- my biggest selling foreign translation, actually, so I was curious to see the cover and who I was paired with to see why it sold so well. I kinda hoped that maybe, if I was very lucky,m they might hunt down a copy of it as well. They went over and above, sending all 7!

Jane, I also get very irritated by bad customer service. It's so very nice when someone -- in this case Kathy -- does their job very well.

As a reader I have had occassion to contact customer service at Harlequin and have never had a rude person help me. Your experience is typical of them.

That purple cover is fabulous!

It is great to hear that Harlequin has such wonderful customer service when so many other sites don't. They truly went the extra mile for you, Bron. I'm definitely going to try shopping there now!

Susan, do give them a try. I really am sincere about the specials and siscounts they offer. That really makes the book budget dollar stretch further!
