My Band

Here's a fun thing I nabbed from someone's blog a while back (and my apologies to whoever/wherever I nabbed from, but I didn't save the link and now can't remember, mea culpa.) If you've ever fantasised about being in a band and seeing your band name on an album cover...

1 - Go to Random Wikipedia articles. The first random article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Random Quotations. The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. (EDITED TO CORRECT LINK.)

3 - Go to flickr's "explore the last seven days". Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

Put it all together, that's your debut album.

Here's mine:

Band Name: A Mid-Winter Night's Dream

Debut Album: We're in Big Trouble.

And this is the cover. Cool, huh?

That's one lovely cover, and you definitely look to be in big trouble, lil lady!

Have a great weekend, Bronwyn!

Well that didn't work:

The quote wouldn't open!!
The pictures was of a little girl in a ballerina outfit staring out at the sea.

Well the band name here is Sygnathia, second one wouldn't open, album cover is the fantasy spot, beach, ocean, sky (absolutely gorgeous)
Have a great weekend. Here it's a long weekend cause July 1 is a holiday.

I rather fancy your bands are heavy metal. Syngathia, definitely. Gohtong Jaya might also be a more bluesy world music thang. Sorry about the quotations link. I will have a look, see if I make a misnake.

Is the July 1 holiday for July 4 or another holiday?

I DID stuff up that second link. Apologies. Have corrected it now, case you want a name on those pretty (non-death-metal-sounding) album covers.

It was formorly called Dominion Day but was changed to Canada Day and celebrates Canada's birthday. I don't know if our celebrations are as big as for the US July 4 but we do have fireworks and parades. U guess France has their holiday July 14.
BTW I tried the quotation thing and now I have the name of the first album "is want of Courage" Rock on. (I wouldn't hold my breath about seeing it in stores anytime in the future)

Well now that I went to the quote the title of my album is :The More I Gain"

Great album titles, dudes. Rock on!

Canada Day, of course. D'oh. I should have engaged brain before asking.

Hi Natalie! Great to see you here.

PS: Engage Brain Before Asking would work as an album title. *g*
