In Three Weeks Time...

...I will be on a beach like this. Well, perhaps not *exactly* like this. Chances are there will be a lot more people. And waves. I won't be sitting on the beach playing kissyface either, I will be standing with my camera recording the efforts of certain intrepid authors on surfboards. It has been pointed out that money could be made keeping those pictures private but that would be blackmail, right? One of my least favourite ploys.

The beach, BTW, is the cover of Quade: The Irresistible One in Lithuania. For the second time. Here is the first cover as a single ===>>>; this latest one is a duet with Amy Fetzer's Taming The Beast. Seemed strange to get two translations in the one country relatively close together so I double-checked and it's the same title, Zavusis Kveidas, and the same blurb.
It's a pretty cover and it could be Chantal and Quade. On their honeymoon. I think they'd have chosen an isolated island beach somewhere. How about you? Where did you spend your honeymoon? I have your choice from my available back titles as a giveaway. (Prize drawn July 15.)

How cool to have the same title released twice in the same country! You must have lotsa Lithuanian fans, Bronwyn

Me, I like the first cover better, don't ask me why.

Honeymoon? Three days in Cozumel (off the Yucatán Peninsula), and ten days in Cancún. Then another week in Michoacán, exploring all sorts of small towns and preColombinan ruins.

The first one is definitely a more Desire cover and also artwork commissioned for a romance cover. The beach scene is an iStock photo. Pretty and romantic but without the passion of the other. That's what I think anyway.

Love the sound of your honeymoon. I'm wondering if this was a BAD choice of discussion because I suspect I'll find scads more places to add to my wanna-see-before-I-die list.

Hi bron, nice cover. I spent my honeymoon in Barbados at Almond resort, such a lovey place for seven days, although must say we did not venture out for exploring much during that time if you know whati mean (lol)

So far we're all about the beaches...and beautiful beaches at that. Tahiti, Seychelles, Barbados, Cancun. We were going to have a beach honeymoon but then life intervened and we had to put our h'moon trip on hold. We ended up going to Tasmania (where my Tycoon's One-Night Revenge is set.) But for our tenth wedding anniversary we had 5 days in Fiji, without then kids. A second honeymoon. Magic.

LOL, LJ, whatever could you mean? ;)
