Two books in one month, which is quite the novelty and treat when I'm lucky to get out two new books a year. One is
the first UK release of
Tycoon's One-Night Revenge, in a duet with Leanne Banks' Bedded by the Billionaire.
The second is a reprint of Beyond Control in a Spotlight Collection with Suzanne Brockmann's Scenes of Passion and Justine Davis's Midnight Seduction. The book is titled Irresistible Attraction. Sexy cover, yes?

The UK books are also available as Adobe eBooks.

If you've been thinking about an eReader for Christmas (or just because) but can't decide which is the best for for your needs, check out the excellent articles at Dear Author. The first compares
dedicated eReaders and the second looks at
multifunction tools such as PDAs, iPhones and mini PCs. I'm still happy with my PDA which doesn't stop me windowshopping and wanting all the new gadgetry.
I don't need a mini PC. I know I don't. The pic is a miniHP which I absolutely Do. Not. Need. Just. Because. Of. The. Prettiness.Labels: Christmas gifts, eBooks, eReaders, other blogs
I know I often remind myself how lucky I am to be writing for Harlequin, but I don't think I say it out loud often enough. Yesterday, two things that made me smile all over my face while thinking, I do love Harlequin, I do, I do.
1. I bought some eBooks from
Harlequin's store; had a problem with recognition of the coupon. I emailed customer care to let them know and they not only dealt with it immediately, they were most generous in how they dealt with it.

I love that as well as discounting the books, they often, regularly (all the time?), offer extra specials and discounts.
2. A couple weeks back a friend emailed me the link to my latest
French translation and because this is a duo with my good friend Yvonne Lindsay and because the cover is all kinds of lovely, I wanted a copy. Instead of whining about never getting copies of my French books via the usual channels (as I do), I contacted the fabulous Harlequin Australia office. Unheralded a big package arrived in my mail box yesterday: all seven of my French translations!

Such as the one I received from Harlequin's eBook boutique this week for 30% off. Add that to the 10% discount the store already gives and I just bought seven (count them, seven!!!) brand new shiny books for $20. I'm about to settle in for a lovely lazy Sunday afternoon of reading.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before, once or twice, how much I love my PDA as a reader. It's so portable. I can read without the light on. I can buy o/s releases without the postage cost. And, just this month, I've discovered that the
Harlequin eBook Boutique is selling new releases a month in advance. I've just bought a few April releases I was keen to get my hands on; now I just need the time to read them. :-) Now, if only all publishers would release all the books I want to read then I'd be an extra happy camper.
